What I want: Fanfic feeds the fandom soul!
I'm not a big fan of massive AU's, I prefer plots that are written within the movie's timeframe, or only slightly deviate from it (i.e. that old Andy never leaves in Paris chestnut). I'm amenable to secondary pairings (whoever/whoever - go crazy!) as long as Miranda and Andy are the main show. Obviously different prompts create different kinds of fics, but I generally dislike big dramarama, I want to read stories that flow from the characters interacting organically. Smut is not necessary, but always welcomed with open arms :)
Some possible prompts:
1. Drunk Miranda. I have seen a few fics where Andy has been a bit worse for wear, but what would be a believable context for Miranda to drink too much? Would it be hilarious or terrifying (or both)?
2. I always love fics that tackle Andy navigating the intersection between Miranda the fashion icon and Miranda the person
3. 'I get a little bit vicious, thats why you love me/ Because you can't resist it, you'd do anything for me' (Song: Take it Like a Man - Dragonette)
4. Crossover: DWP/30 Rock. Jack/Liz and Miranda/Andy are forced to interact at a, 'fancy people gala'
"What did Miranda and Jack even do when they dated? Discuss who had sold their soul to the devil for the better price?"
What I can do: What do you prefer creating?
Fic is my forte. I'm happy to write in any style/genre/AU, but I rarely write more than a one shot. I could also do crossover fics, as long as I had time to watch the none DWP half of the equation :)
Music Mixes are also totally possible.
What I absolutely won't do: I'll write any character, no problem, but I don't think I could write a couple other than Miranda/Andy. I have never written PWP, but I am happy to give it a go. Long, epic fics are totally beyond me.
Are you willing to provide a backup contribution? Maybe, I would have to know before Jan 10th, as that is when my Uni term begins again.
